5 Words To Keep You Grounded

For today, I want to share with you something I did at the beginning of 2013.

I picked five words at the beginning of the year to make ‘my words’ for 2013 and so far, crikey, what a difference they’ve made. Would you like to join me in doing this too?

Rather than just one word, five gives a flow and interactivity between the words. If you’d like to join in for the 2nd half of 2013 and notice what you notice, just pick 5 words which are important to you to finish 2013 on a high. Words which mean something to you and inspire you.

My five words for 2013 are:

  1. Nurture
  2. Value
  3. Income
  4. Energy
  5. Focus

They all inter-connect – I’ve been nurturing my energy and saying “No” to lots of things to be able to focus, add value, generate income and focus on income for my clients. Working out if an opportunity adds value or is worth the energy or not makes it an easy Yes or No answer. I have them on post-it notes all over the place. They’ve influenced my husband Snowy too ;o).

If you’re already doing it, great. I’d love to hear how it’s going, and if you’ve just decided to have a go, let me know.

As a self-confessed word nerd, I promise you, the words you choose to use from the inside out, make a huge difference to your results. They have their own energy. Oh, there’s that energy word again!

More soon, after regrouping my energy and focus, nurturing myself a bit and looking at the income and value added from hosting a 3-day live event both for my business and for all those professional women who joined me.

“Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another.”
